First day at uni.

This morning, I had my first uni class. Langue et Stylistiques Francaises 2. OMG. It wasn't as hard as I thought, I got the gist of what was going on, and at the end of the class, I knew what had happened and could answer some questions in my own mind about the class. But what we were covering was hard lol
We spent the hour and a half looking at phrases complexes and les propositions subordonées, including  la parataxe, props circonstantielles, etc. At the end of our classes for the first week, we have to see the tut afterwards so they know that we are international students. We also don't have to sit exams officially for any of our classes! WOOH! But, instead, the teacher gives us something extra to do throughout the semester so she has something to mark us on. We're getting a smaller exam for this class.
During out 2.5 hour break, we went for lunch at a bakery.
Next class was translation. Today was french to english. We found it much easier to make friends in this class once people new that we spoke english haha as students taking this class are studying english at uni. I also knew what was going on! So I participated much more, answering questions, the like. Our prof for this class is really nice as well, and made jokes about us being english, etc.
All up, I think it was a decent first day. I didn't come home crying, so that's a start!
