I also baked Anzac cookies and brownies this morning and ate a bunch, so wasn't annoyed I got that lost.
I also did a huge bake last week for a girl's night at Lucy and Candice's house. Apple and cinnamon biscuits, Nutella slice and cinnamon and dried fruit muffins! Yum, we watched When Harry Met Sally (great chick flick) and nibbled on Mushroom tarts, Bruschetta, rainbow fried rice, ricotta and spinach cheese dip, olives and carrots.
I've just finished uni for the week. I'm settling into my subjects well. Despite being confused about homework and such in a few of them, I'm following them fine and can participate in class discussions.
We've also got a cat living with us again! Leah's father moved house and couldn't take her cat with him, so it moved in with us. It's much better than the last ones we had! It's a lot fatter and older, so it can't jump up on benches or chairs, meaning there's not cat hair everywhere, and I don't have to worry about leaving things on the kitchen bench. It's also not annoying like the last ones. It just stays either in Leah's room or on the third floor landing all day, so I barely see it. In fact, it looked startled when it saw me yesterday, I don't think it even knew I lived here...
At the moment, I'm just finishing the Lord of the Rings trilogy extended cuts. I've never seen them before, the extended cuts that is. It's like watching sing-along Disney movies, it's the same storyline, but every now and then an extra scene has been added in. But, unlike Disney ones, these add-ins make the movies better. But waaaayyy longer. I've been knitting whilst watching them. I've almost finished the final sleeve. Woohoo!
Baking for girls night - burnt the cookies a bit
