Don't wear flats in the rain.

Today was enrolment day. It was also the day it was supposed to snow... It rained all day instead. But, the temperature still dropped as if it was snowing.
I woke up at 7 this morning! The latest I've woken up thus far. I had uni enrolment at 1:30pm and thought by that time, the rain would have stopped, or at least subsided a little. It hadn't. I trekked to uni in the rain again. I dressed warmer today, expecting it to be colder because of the forecasts. It certainly was! 3 degrees when I left for the tram.
I'm not sure what was happening when I enrolled, but I think the girl that I was enrolling me had never enrolled anyone before because I went in third and when I came out, everyone else had been done. There were about 8 of us. I then paid for my social security, which the uni makes you pay (207 euros). I had opted to pay for sport at the uni as well, which was an additional 18 euros, which allows you to use the uni gym, sports equipment and pool. But, as my girl didn't really know what she was doing (at one point there were 3 people at her computer trying to figure it out), she didn't write down for me to pay for sport as well.
I realised as I was leaving to pick up my student card. OK, this was the most confusing 15 minutes I have spent in Bordeaux thus far. I was one of those students who actually had no idea where to go and walked up and down the corridor almost 10 times. Eventually I worked out, that level 2 is spread out over 3 levels. Genius. I went and got my student card and then, with the help of the office ladies, worked out how to pay for sport. WOOH!
Then trekked home in the rain again.
I needed to buy some chicken. Which is when my first world problems began. I put on my flats to run down to the supermarket. It's only a 5 minute walk there. But, by the time I got there, my shoes were soaked. Surprisingly not cold though, just wet. As I walked through the aisles, all I could hear was the squelch of the water in my shoes. And apparently, that's all anyone else could hear too lol.
Back home now, ready to start knitting my jumper!
