Today was another long day in terms of driving. We've gone from Budapest to Prague with a lunch stop in Bratislava, Slovakia. I've found I don't particularly like bus touring like this, where you're just passing through countries and can't really keep track of where you are. I prefer indepth exploring, spending a few nights in one place, and at least a week in the same country.
As we were nearing the Slovakian border, we ducked into a service station for a toilet break. I bought some muesli bars and I was supposed to get 1 cent change. The Hungarian florint doesn't have a 1 cent coin haha so I was so used to be given 1 and 2 cent coins I stood there waiting for it lol.
At Bratislava it was pouring! We've been pretty lucky with the weather we've had so far. It was a shame because the town seemed lovely. Like a traditional European village, a bit like Salzburg, with small coloured buildings and restaurants everywhere. Mum and I got lost on our way back to the bus, not realising there were two maccas' within about 500m of each other. Haha we made it just in time. One of the other ladies on the tour had her wallet stolen that day too. She thinks she payed for something, put it into her bag but didn't do the zipper up and when she went to get it it again at the next place, it was gone. It was assumed it was the shopkeepers who she'd just purchased something off.

By the time we reached Prague, the sun was shining and warm. Coming into Prague, the architecture was AMAZING! On the outskirts, run down art nouveau buildings with boards over them, and broken glass panels at the entrance and carved heads with intricate patterns on the corners. I didn't get a photograph of one of the grander and beautiful ones, but I've got some of the others. Our hotel was also massive, a bit like an airport. Underneath was a shopping centre. Mum and I grabbed some snacky food from Marks and Spencer and went up for our included dinner.
