Day Eight. London.

A mad old steam train pulled into Basingstoke station on my way to London, with funny tea lamps on every carriage. It was pretty cool to see!
When I arrived, I walked from Waterloo station to the hotel, about 40 minutes away. It was a pretty nice walk. This is my fourth time in London this year, and there is always something new to discover!
I arrived and couldn't check in until 2pm, so dropped my bags off, grabbed lunch and sat in Russell Square. Once checked in, I grabbed some fruit from a Sainsbury's and went back to get ready for Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre, at the West End. I also met my room mate for the two nights in London, Cammilla. She was absolutely lovely!
It was amazing! It was cool getting dressed up for it haha. Their voices were perfect. And the costumes were incredible. The stage was really deep so there was heaps going on, and the sets were the best I've ever seen! Massive moving sets which rotated to form different sets, and the entire centre stage was a massive rotating wheel, which made running scenes very cool, and the back of the stage would be set up, and then rotate into the light. There was even a slow motion bit!
Afterwards, I walked back to the hotel and got a bit lost, but everything is easy when you speak a common language!

Couldn't take pictures of the actual performance,
but here are some of the theatre!
