Day Nine. London.

I've caught a bit of a cold, so I slept in this morning and tried to get rid of the worst of it. I left the hotel at about 10:30am, and headed for Kensington Palace. I've done a lot of the main touristy stuff, so I could afford a lazy day in London. The palace gardens were lovely! I are lunch there and spent a while just walking through them. The palace wasn't as palacy as I thought it would be. Apart from the manicured lawns, it was pretty standard. A plain brown brick building from the outside. Of course inside was lovely, but it certainly wasn't very intricate looking from the outside.
After Kensington, I walked back through Hyde Park and down Oxford street. Then back to The Contiki Basement for the night before meeting. After checking in for the tour and everything, the group headed to a bar in London. Everyone I've met is super nice! There's a girl from Dural, who loved Glenbrook! And a few girls living in Germany, from Australia, so they know how I feel this year! Wooh!
