"Would you ask Mozart to sell one of his guitars?"

Today was the first day we've started in a city and not left straight away. As we're heading to Vienna this afternoon and it's not that far away so we can leave later.
We had a guided tour of old Salzburg. First, we visited Schloss Hellbrunn And some of the places the Sound of Music was filmed, including the gazebo where "16 going on 17" was filmed and the alley of trees where Maria sung "I have confidence in me". Heading back into the centre of town, we walked through the beautiful old streets lined with expensive stores selling traditional Austrian costumes. We were taken to the Mozart statue, Salzburg church, the convent where Maria lived, and had a view of the fortress on the hill. The church was incredibly impressive inside with painted ceilings and walls. Then we were taken to Mozart's birth house.

During free time, mum and I did a bit of shopping (I bought heaps of Mozart chocolate haha and new Swiss Army knife. My last one was taken at customs when I left Australia). We went exploring further and then grabbed lunch at a small cafe.

That afternoon, we bus tripped to Vienna. We're staying a bit out of town again, so for dinner, mum, Kendra (another girl on the tour), and I caught the underground into the main city. It was super impressive. We onl stayed on the Main Street, which was a little bit like Pitt street in Sydney, a little bit cooler though. We walked around for a while before grabbing salad for dinner (a welcome meal).
